About Peter
Creating compelling images and portraits that capture who you are is challenge I love to take up every time I pick up my camera. Your time with me will be relaxed and fun. That’s how I go.
Patty brought horses and I brought the photography
I’ve always loved horses and had an interest in them, but when I married Patty we both brought our avid interests with us. I brought photography and portrait making and she brought horses and riding. As a young couple we struggled with affording a horse and went a time without a horse, but it was never long before we found ourselves being involved again with horses and of course photography.
Fast forward to today. We live in a fully restored old farmhouse near Germantown, and only minutes from the Dayton Mall in Ohio. We have a few acres with several horses and a barn which also has my professional photography studio. Don’t worry, the photography studio is completely separate from the horses and the hay.
Patty rides in Endurance Rides all over the region (Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and Indiana) and in addition to the studio, I have portrait sessions at farms and stables throughout SW Ohio. I do on-location & studio senior portrait sessions. I also do Headshot photography for personal branding on Facebook, Linked In, and for websites and other marketing.
People portraits, People with horse portraits, and Headshots for personal branding, business, and for model portfolios
I love to capture intimate moments between a horse and rider in my equine portrait sessions. I also do horse only portraits with beautiful at liberty action shots, and scenic pasture shots or conformation images for “for sale” images and stallion promotions.
My people portrait photography includes, senior portraits, headshots for personal branding, and model portfolio building. I love taking individual portraits on location or in my studio. Capturing images that say who you are, that reach in and touch your soul is what I love to do.
Our newest family member is a dog named Pixel
Let me introduce you to our new puppy, Pixel. Our Shetland Sheep Dog recently passed away and we had to have another dog. She is a Aussi-Doodle, half Australian Shepherd and half Standard Poodle. I hope to blog about her adventures as she grows up here with us.
As you can see, my wife is quite enamored with Pixel. But, we know that with a puppy some things happen. A few things will be chewed up and destroyed. It’s part of having animals. When Pixel destroys something which all puppies do, it’s PIXELATED!

My Photography Studio & Location Photography
On-location photography is a mainstay of my portrait photography business. Senior portraits and family sessions photographed at locations which have special meaning, locations that show the beauty of nature, and other locations with a personal connection. Sometimes going out to a special location will help to create portraits of enduring value.
