Senior Portrait Session Creative Fee and Minimum Purchase:
I do custom on-location senior portrait sessions at your home or a location of your choosing to create a unique collection of portraits for your portfolio. Sessions can be up to two hours long with as many clothing changes as will fit within that time period.
Initial investment is $75 for the on-location portrait session creative fee. In addition there is a low minimum purchase of $250.
If you pay the session creative fee and $250 minimum order at the time of your session you will be able to enter a code with your purchase and save 20% on the entire order for up to 30 days after the proofs become live on the site. Note: To be fair to everyone, I cannot extend that discount code. It is important to take full advantage of the discount within the first 30 days. You can use the code on several different orders so long as they all occur within the first 30 days before the code expires.
You can choose who will do the senior portrait session that you will order from to give wallets to your friends and to create coffee table books for your parents. Although I do not do “yearbook” portraits, I promise that we can make your seniors portraits what YOU want them to be.
Session Creative Fee Money Back Guarantee:
All my sessions are guaranteed. What that means is that if you are not completely happy with the results of your session you may request a re-shoot or you may request a refund of any payments you have made. So, you can see that it is completely to your advantage to pay both the session fee and the minimum purchase at the time of the session even though you have not yet seen your proofs.
What to Bring: What? Did you say, “Bring my friends?”
Bring your friends. Your friends (BFFs, Best friends forever) are some of the people you may want in portraits with as you go off to different schools when you graduate. Why not bring your friends to your senior portrait shoot? This is about you and should be what you want it to be. Bring props, any items that say something about you, and your favorite clothing. Call me to discuss the ideas that you have for your senior portraits.
Place Your Order / Online Proofs:
Your proofs will be online for viewing and selection. I will need your email address to send you the link to your proofs usually the next day. In addition, I will place several images from the session on my FACEBOOK page and FACEBOOK fan page. If you “friend me” on FACEBOOK and join my fan page, I will be able to “tag the images” and they will come to directly to your wall for your friends to see.

Senior portraits with your horse
Students with horses know they want a photographer that is aware of what is needed for outstanding equine portraits. They want their portraits to show them and their horse at their best. For equine portraits I go to your stable or farm for the session. As a member of the EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHERS NETWORK I receive ongoing education on many breeds and have participated in equine photography seminars by some of the world’s most outstanding equine photographers. I also have experience taking outstanding portraits of dogs and other pets.
Child Sessions:
With children, I shoot under your supervision in your home or outdoors at a your home or in a local park. My goal is to capture candid moments and natural portraits that show the personality of your child. If there is more than one child their interactions can be precious, and moments interacting with mom and dad are also fun to capture.
Family Portrait Sessions:
Family portraits can be a challenge, but many times the challenge has great rewards. Family portraits can be taken indoors or outdoors at your home (how special is that!) or at the metro park near your home. Best times for outdoor sessions are near dusk when the sun is no longer high in the sky. Smaller children should be rested and fed prior to the session.
Local Horse Shows:
I photograph many of the Dayton Local Show Circuit (DLSC) shows in the Dayton and surrounding areas. These shows are Hunter/Jumper and Dressage shows which are held at Dayton area facilities. Some of the stables are Greenstone Stable, Trails End Equestrian Center, Riding Center, Stillwater Pony Club, Whitehouse Stables, Dancing Horse Farm, Wetherbrooke Farm, and Shelby Farm. If you have another show that you would like me to consider, please call me. Shows are subject to scheduling issues.
Regional Trail Events / AERC Endurance and also Competitive Trail Rides:
Throughout the season, I shoot AERC Endurance Rides and Competitive Trail Rides (CTRs) in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. My goal is to capture the joy of the trail so that you can cherish you times with your equine competitor throughout your life. You will see me on the trail, in the vet checks, and before and after the ride. I also encourage you to ask me about inpromptu portrait sessions with your and your horse as well with you and your dog. Don’t be afraid to ask. You save the cost of a farm call since I am already there for the event. For more information on endurance rides go to the AERC web site. An organization that sponsors many competitive trail rides in the region is Oaats (Ohio Arabian & All-Breed Trail Society).
Farm Call Sessions and Stallion Promotion Sessions:
Farm calls outside of the Dayton area have a farm call creative fee of $150. Mileage / travel charges may also apply. Sessions can run longer depending on what the purpose of the session is and this requires a phone consultation. For example if you want photography to promote your boarding or breeding farm, this would be different than portraits for personal usage only. Also photography of “horses for sale” are different than a portrait of a single horse or two for personal usage. For stallion promotion there is a $250 additional charge for up to 5 high resolution files to be used for promotion online or in print publications, fliers etc. Additional high resolution files can be purchased for promotional purposes. Prints, canvases, and other items can be ordered directly from the online proofing site.
