Lots of snow here in England and I went out this morning taking photos but they were all under exposed. Found your website, read your tips and then I went out again - all my photos are now much better. Many thanks! :)

Hi Will, great comment, but let me add a little. Rather than taking your camera from a humidified home directly out into the very cold temps, put it in your camera bag and take it outside. Allow the temperatures to equalize THEN bring your camera out of the camera bag. If you bring your camera out directly from the house OR bring it back directly into the house you have a good change of getting frost on the outer elements of the lens. If you bring your very cold camera into a warm house there is a good chance there will be lots of condensation forming all over the camera. Put it in your camera bag first, then bring it into your warm house.

Thanks for the tips! (Also, be sure to let your camera/lens acclimate to the temperature difference before shooting.)
